If you're curious about astrology but found most books too confusing, this class is for you.

Astrology works and a birth chart is as precise as your fingerprints. Newspaper horoscopes give people the wrong idea, though, because they're so broad they're useless, much like trying to do a forecast for everyone with brown eyes.

Elizabeth uses a step-by-step, building block approach to teach astrology, make it practical and useful. Learning astrology will help you understand yourself better as well as your friends and family.

This six-week series will cover:

The meanings of each planet and what part of your life they rule
The signs of the zodiac, what they really mean and how they affect your planets
The houses and why they -- and your birth time -- are so crucial to really understanding yourself
How the elements and qualities of the zodiac determine if you're flexible, energetic, compassionate, etc.
Personalized interpretations in regard to your chart so you can recognize how each part of your chart connects to the information you will learn.

Students will also receive a copy of their own astrological chart and will learn how to apply their astrology lessons to their birth chart, thereby personalizing what they learn. This makes learning astrology fun and productive. It's much easier to learn that, for instance, Mercury in Leo loves to talk, if you can associate that with someone you know who has Mercury in Leo and loves to talk. Elizabeth will also provide you with charts for your spouse/significant other if you desire so you can practice what you learn by applying it to their charts.

Astrology I involves 12 lessons. So far the content is more than 100 pages and is still growing so it's a VERY thorough class without ever being overwhelming.

It's interactive just like a face-to-face class, only it's all done online so you can participate any time of the day or night. Elizabeth has completely revised her prior astrology classes for this version, updating it with new examples, information and insights. Taking the class will be like getting your own instruction manual on astrology combined with a personal approach to understanding your own chart that no normal book can provide. By the end of the class series, you'll not only understand yourself better, but will have greater insight to those around you.

Class lessons will be sent via email over the course of six weeks. The class will use a free, private Yahoo Group through which students can ask questions, receive answers and share experiences. You can read and post questions any time of the day or night so you have complete flexibility and freedom.

The class lasts 6 weeks and costs $30 per week but if you pay in a lump sum rather than weekly, you only pay $150, so you're getting a week free.

When you sign up for the class, please send Elizabeth your birth time, date and location (city and state) so Elizabeth can do your chart before class begins. You will also need Adobe Acrobat (also called Acrobat Reader) to read the lessons as the astrological symbols will be incorporated in your lessons. Most computers already have a copy of Acrobat.
